Clubs in the Northern Virginia Area: 

• NVBA (Northern Virgnia Beekeepers Association) is a much larger group that meets in the Annandale area on the fourth Thursday each month : http://novabees.org/

• Loudon County Beekeepers is a large active organization that usually meets on the first Monday or Tuesday each month : http://www.loudounbee.org/

Larger Regional Organizations:

• EAS (Eastern Apiculture Society) supports education and research and has an excellent annual, multi-day meeting. EAS also developed and manages an excellent Master Beekeeper Program: www.easternapiculture.org
• VSBA (Virginia State Beekeepers Association) meets twice a year and supports beekeeping in Virginia. They also have a Master Beekeeper Program that contains three tiers - Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master: www.virginiabeekeepers.org
